Jin, her parents, and I visited UCSF on Monday the 26th -- the day before her first interview.

After visiting UCSF, I drove Jin & her parents down the Embarcadero in downtown San Francisco -- the traffic was very busy, but it's a pretty drive. This is a restaurant along the Embarcadero.

On Thursday, May 29 Jin had no interviews so we went for a drive to Japan Town (to buy a gift for Marina) and then drove back to San Jose by going west to the the San Francisco beach (pictured) and then down highway 1 to Half Moon Bay, then over to San Jose. It was fairly cold (around 60), so swimming was out of the question, but the sand was warm from the sun.
